CBS Antorcha

The baseball and softball team Antorcha (from now on CBS Antorcha) is a sports club created in 1959 and reactivated from 1981 when it started with grassroots sports as one of the main objectives of the club. Another of the objectives was to develop a club structure based on the promotion of sports in minor categories that would support the life of the club.

From that moment on, we have been constantly working with boys and girls from the city of Valencia so that they can develop as athletes and go on to form the lower categories of the club with a certain technical level that allows them to participate in the federated sports activity as well as other activities organized by the municipality.

Currently the club's activities are based on the promotion and practice of sports participating in all events that allow their athletes to develop not only in the sporting field but also in the social sphere by the values that sport itself brings to society: integration, sociability, tolerance, respect, effort, etc..

Today, the club participates in all regional and national competitions with the two disciplines: baseball and softball and in all categories of grassroots sport (infantile, juvenile, U-13, U-15 and U-18).

French Baseball & Softball Federation

The French Federation of Baseball and Softball (FFBS from now on) was created in 1924. In early 2010, the federation gained 50% membership increase due to the growth of activities in France for baseball and softball. The main objective of the FFBS is to organize and develop baseball and softball in France in relation to all club teams.

The Federation has the following missions:

· Promote education through physical activities and sports.

· Promote access to physical and sporting activities for all.

· To train volunteers, coaches and officials

· To organize sporting and official activities

· To ensure compliance with regulations, safety, security, supervision and ethics

· Manage the baseball and softball games of all its national championships

· Deliver French national baseball and softball titles.

The FFBS represents baseball/sofball before public authorities and national and international sports organizations.

It contributes to the development of baseball and softball in the territory and defends the interests of these activities. We currently have national teams from U12, U15, U18, U23 and senior for baseball. We also have U15, U18, U23 and senior softball teams. We are also currently developing a new baseball5 activity with international visibility with the baseball5 U17 team and the baseball5 senior team.

Nuoro Sofball Italia

SSD Nuoro Softball (from now on SSD Nuoro) was founded in 1993 with the aim of spreading the discipline of softball with special attention to the youth sector. It is a women's sports club established in Nuoro (Sardinia, Italy).

The creation of the club is the result of a growth of the local softball movement in Nuoro dating back to 1975. It has had as its main objective to contribute to increase the opportunities for softball practice in Nuoro by advocating the construction of specific facilities. S.S.D. Nuoro Softball achieved the intended result through a considerable effort in the span of 5 years, with the construction of a regular softball field, supported by the necessary lateral facilities, in Nuoro.

The S.S.D. Nuoro Sófbol pursues the development of young female athletes in the practice of softball, also through the support of external coaches (mainly from Cuba) who carry out specialized work to improve the softball-related skills of the athletes.

The club achieved promotion to the top category of Italian softball in 1998, reaching 4th place in the league that same year. Another crucial result achieved by the club was the first place in the Italian Softball Cup in 2002.
