"ICT Tools to transform Baseball and Softball"

Progress in match streaming research.
We would like to share with all of you the streaming of the Challenge de France 2024 being carried out by the FFBS.
The streaming broadcast is one of the sections that are being investigated within the framework of the ICTTools-2-tranform B&S European project.
In this case, the Mevo multicam pack is being used together with sidelinehd and the iscore annotation platform. A router and a tablet are used as complementary resources to manage the production. As human resources to carry out the broadcasting, it has 2 people.
From this broadcast, conclusions will be drawn about the pros and cons of this set-up, which will be shared with all the organisations involved in the project.

Meeting at Baseball Spring Tournament at Valencia.
We're excited to share highlights from the recent Baseball Spring Tournament! During the event, we welcomed partners from two European projects we're developing at our club. We took advantage of the tournament to hold working meetings with them. 🎉
With Boris Ruthermond from FFBS, we made progress on the ICT Tools B&S project, exploring baseball game broadcasting. Additionally, we discussed with Alejandro Sánchez from RBA the training visit of our technical staff within the "Enhancing the capabilities of baseball and softball technical staff" coach mobility project. 💼
From these meetings and the tournament itself, we gained valuable experiences. We discovered tools like the iScore app for game scoring and the SidelineHD video platform for live streaming. We also planned activities for when our technical staff visit Regensburg. 📱
In summary, it has been a rewarding experience to share these moments with our European partners. Thank you for being part of this exciting journey! 🤝

FFBS IT Tools Coaching
An exciting week of learning hosted by the French baseball and softball federation! 🇫🇷⚾ This week, we dove into the world of sports management applications and the art of integrating technical videos. 🎥
In session 1, we analysed the goals and tools of video tutorials for coaches. 🏋️♂️ We learnt about the impressive results achieved by the clubs using MY COACH within the federation. 🌟
In session 2 we got insights into how they strategically chose scenarios, the tools they used, and the techniques behind crafting those instructional videos. 🤓
A huge shoutout to Boris, Lahcène, and Stephen for their dedication and hard work in making this training a success! 🙌

Kick Off Meeting
6th November 2023
The official launch of the European project ICT Tools to transform Baseball and Softball took place on 6 November. The session was attended by representatives of the three member teams of the partnership: CD Nuoro (Italy), Francaise Federation Baseball et Softball (France) and CBS Antorcha (Spain).
This type of kick-off meeting aims to make the objectives of the project visible to the community, and to lay the foundations of the collaboration that has been established between the members of the alliance.
In our kick-off meeting, the highlights of the project (duration, objectives, planning, budget and distribution among the members of the alliance) were recalled and some pending decisions were taken:
Concerning equipment and project logos.
The internal (Telegram) and external (club networks) communication channels and the times of publication of information were agreed upon.
The most imminent tasks were planned (making of sport videos and testing of the app for club management).
In addition, the representative of CD Nuoro, with previous experience in European projects, shared with the rest of the members the highlights of his personal learning and what it has meant for his club to participate in this kind of adventures.
